This is one of the only two expanded Classic Film Scores on CD, by Charles Gerhardt and National Philharmonic on RCA label. The other is the Sea Hawk disc. This expanded CD includes five more tracks (Hightlights in below). The length is 68 v. 53(standard version, or Dolby Version). Among the five omitted tracks, Mr. Skeffington appeared on Betty Davis CD. So the rest four tracks is the reason to get this version. My rip included photographed booklet, which has 11 page article by Franzs son, John Waxman.

Audio file in APE, cue, log included.

1. Prince Valiant (09:56)
2. Peyton Place (03:26)
3. A Place In The Sun (08:37)
4. The Bride Of Frankenstein (07:25)
5. To Have And To Have Not (01:48)
6. Sunset Boulevard (07:49)
7. Mr.Skeffington (02:54)
8. Objective Burma ! (02:20)
9. Rebecca (07:51)
10. The Philadelphia Story (03:40)
11. Old Acquaintance (03:35)
12. The Two Mrs. Carrolls (04:31)
13. Taras Bulba (04:58)

Enjoy!

If you own, like I do, these individual discs, you have all these tracks.

Much like the Lost Horizon disc featuring Dimitri Tiomkin’s music… it lacked The Thing from Another World Suite. Available on The Spectacular World of Film Scores.

All of this wonderful music first appeared on LP- and had to be edited to fit. Then came the compact discs and some was extended while other discs remained collated according to film stars. (marketing)

The disc offered here just pooled existing resources. None of these tracks are extended.
