Covers uploaded! As well as that for "The Great Escape".

Why "RCA had them destroyed"? Did they make too many copies and could not sell well?

If I remember correctly neither title had negotiated the rights correctly, so they were withdrawn and pulped.

Both albums included a few tracks of previously unreleased material, and the problem was with those.

RCA could have re-pressed the albums without those tracks, but as those tracks were seen as the whole point of the albums in the first place, the rest is history.

How come this didn’t come out on the Varese label as all these recordings done by Robert Townson did in those days?

I suggest you use an alternative to the one you are currently using.
