PS3ISO has a guide or two.

I haven’t used a PSX emulator that much (I’ve fiddled around a bit with PSEmu and esPSXe), but a good starting point for emulation of all kinds is probably Zophar’s Domain (http://www.zophar.net)

All I can suggest though is read the readme files that usually come with the emulators, as they will usually include directions on how to install the software and get them running (such as how to use BIOS files, configuring video and sound and the memory card function). They’re usually found in the main folder of the emulator, usually with an obvious filename like ‘readme’ or ‘manual’.

I have a quick guide:

You need a sound card, preferably something to do with roland.

You need:

A really good sound card file that works with your current computer
A really good graphics card file that works perfectly with your computer
A bios file that works with your computer.
A cd rom file that works with your computer perfectly, made for epsxe or whatever.

Where to get these:My advice is to search google for good programs that run on the program you are using.
I personally use epsxe, because it says it is the best functioning. For me,it runs really well.Only time i ever had trouble, was if i used a cheat program.

How to know what best suits your computer:

When i start epsxe,i go to set up menu, and i set up the all of the requisites to run a game on epsxe.
You will get a recommendation, and it is usually best to follow that recommendation.
You will also need to test a game,to see if the setup is correct.
The setup may vary at times for certain games, but the recommended setups tend to work really well for me.

I hope this was helpful.

Huh? You don’t need a sound card to emulate PSX games. You don’t need a sound card to emulate anything. I don’t know where you got that idea from.
