MTV Spider-Man

So, back in 2003, MTV had a CGI animated series, dubbed ‘Spider-Man, the new animated series.’ It only lasted one season, which was a shame. I thought it was good. I particularly enjoyed the score to the show. I contacted the composer. He did respond, but said he didn’t have the rights to give me the music.

A DVD of the complete season was released in 2006. It had a 5.1 audio track.

So, here is a ‘dvdrip’ (?) that I did some time ago. It was done by playing the dvd while having AC3filter enabled. At the time, it had a feature which completely killed the center channel, so I could get most films to play without any dialog. All I would be left with was the music and some sound effects.

Sorry, long explanation. This ‘rip’ has over 30 minutes of music. Most of it does have sound effects, but I don’t think it’s overly distracting, minus a few tracks where you’ll hear the lizard roar or Peter Parker speaking for a few seconds.

My track names aren’t that inventive and I can’t tell you which cue is from what episode. But, I do hope you like the music. It’s in 256 kkps. And, as far as I know, this score, even in this type of environment, hasn’t been released. Until now!
