According to Goldsmith’s filmography on soundtrackcollector, Caboblanco was composed in 1980, right between "Star Trek – The Motion Picture" (1979) and "The Final Conflict" (1981), so this seems to be his only composition in 1980. That’s odd, if you take into account he composed 4 scores in 1980 and 5 in 1982. I wonder what was the reason for him to slow down that much in 1980? Maybe he had other projects other than movie scores, or there was something in his personal life making him working less? He must have had enough offers, because he was very well respected by 1980 and much in demand. Does somebody know the reason?
Sorry, meteor man, I meant 4 scores in 1979. There was just 1 score in 1980 (Caboblanco).
One of the few Jerry Goldsmith scores that I was missing.
The movie not so good as the score.
Awesome!!! Anticipation, it’s making me wait!! Thanks!!!!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
A Goldsmith title I did not have. Thank you, meteor man!
Edit: I’ve never seen this movie but listening to the score for the first time is a real eye opener. I agree that it is fantastic.
A must have IMHO.
