Here’s the Academy Award nominated score. What makes this unique is the fact that no CD release of the actual soundtrack exists, just re-recordings. It’s not my transfer. I got this some 3 years ago at the good-old Lossless thread when it was at its reign!
I can safely say it’s one the best vinyl tranfers I’ve ever heard. Maybe the disc was in perfect shape, maybe the equipment used was top-notch, or maybe this interesting vinyl cleaning method was used: Cleaning a Record with Wood Glue – YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_gyvipBs6Vs)
Whatever the case may be, I’m sure that no noise reduction or click/pops remove was used because I know it only makes it sound worse.
