Now, after we got that out of the way, let’s get to the subject. I had two instances when I could not get a perfect rip from perfectly normal, undamaged, unscratched CD’s. The tricky part? I tried CDParanoia and XLD Secure Ripper and both programs reported no errors. 0 ERRORS OF ANY SORT. The CD’s were perfectly FINE.
Could AccurateRip database be wrong here?
There might be several different pressings of a certain album, or it’s even possible that someone could have sent in false information. I’m not sure how that works, i think it happens when someone burns mp3s to a disc and then rips the disc again and submits to accuraterip.
Anywho, it might also be a problem with your drive offset or some other configuration problem in XLD.
