Worse game you’ve ever played

Post here some games you thought were some of the worse games you have ever played.

For me:

Secret of the stars:I played this game,and it is so incredibly clich� and stupid.
The gameplay is dull and unoriginal,and the music is incredibly boring.

Cheetahmen 2:I saw a review of this game,so i decided to download it to see what it was like,and boy was i horrified.
The controls are stiff,and the game is so buggy that you cannot beat it.I beat the final boss,and i couldn’t even win cause the game glitched out.

before other users come here and claim the thread already exists (dissapointing game youve played).
bare in mind that being dissapointed in a game does not make it a bad game.

excluding pacman 2600, e.t. and superman 64 (the official, undefeated worst games of all time), i would have to say double switch for the SCD.
and the cd-i games i have, with the slight exclution of laser lords, an average platformer/action game

I don’t want games that people just dislike,i want games that are known to be mentioned here that are so horrible,that they are infamous for being bad.Games you tried out to see if the legends of how horrid it was true,and was horrified that it was worse.

i just remembered i have also played (and own) ghostbusters for the NES.
aside from the awesome 8 bit rendition of the ghostbusters theme, the game is just horrible. terrible controls and horrible graphics (even by nes standards).

easily among the top ten worst nes games of all time

Although I’ve never played it, Duke Nukem Forever seems to fall under this category.

Darth Revan…Final Fantasy Mystic Quest – SNES? Are you serious? That game is like my favorite it was the first RPG i could actually beat because i was too young back then to understand how to play Final Fantasy 1 or FF4 for snes and mystic quest i played and enjoy. the music and graphics and design were great and the story wasn’t too shabby.

I heard about ghostbuster being bad,but i never played it.
Saw avgn bash on its terrible game mechanics,and impossible to beat last area.

melonofwater FF mystic quest isn’t bad,i’d compare it to secret of mana in terms of story.
Gameplay wise:Both seemed decent for games around that era.

Went home popped it in.
Laughed my ass off.

It’s not as horrible when you figure out you can fly out of the pit….

I am serious melonofwater. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest was utter garbage. Nothing redeeming about it whatsoever.

Disagree all you want, but compared with other RPG’s available at the time, Mystic Quest was a pathetic attempt to introduce western audiences to JRPG’s when there were plenty of others available at the time on the PC, SNES or Megadrive/Genesis. I have played Mystic Quest and it left me wanting the time I spent on it returned. The graphics compared to other RPG’s on the SNES at the time were terrible, the battle system while it worked was rather weak and simplistic and the music was terrible.

Don’t get me started on the story or the characters (of lack thereof)…

The worst time I’ve ever had with a game is probably Pok�mon Colosseum. It’s the only crappy game I’ve ever really played at length.

Meh… to each their own. Final Fantasy Mystic Quest is still one of the many games I’ve had the misfortune to play and then place in my ‘Worst Game I’ve Played’ pile.

couldnt do jack shit with it. definately the worst game i ever played. the first one was good, though.

Controls were pretty horrible.
It was really hard to pull off a special ability in mortal kombat armageddon on the wii.

Big Rigs

The only fun you’ll ever get out of it is by spinning your truck around at mach speed and driving off the levels.

Action 52

I played it on the NES emulator on my pc, couldn’t even play all 52. You know when Ebert said how much he hated this movie called "North"? That’s pretty much how I feel about Action 52.

Star wars force unleashed:Wii

Without a doubt, one of the worst Star Wars games ever… the fact George "My beard has taken root in what’s left of my brain" Lucas made TFU canon with the movies is laughable. It got even worse when TFUII came out…

I personally thought The Forced Unleashed was interesting. I haven’t finished it yet, however.

ugh, thinking about that game still makes me shiver in disgust.

I think for me it was Call of Duty: Big Red One for PS2… probably because I played it after getting used to next-gen graphics, and not only did it not age well, but everything else about the game didn’t feel like it belonged on the PS2, rather the PS1 instead.

I got it for the xbox and I thought it was great.

Modern Warfare 2….although Modern Warfare 3 ain�t far behind….awful games

That’s your opinion and you’re entitled to it… but having great boss battle music, doesn’t redeem a piece of garbage like Mystic Quest.

I never played the game so, I don’t know if it’s good or bad.

If memory serves, Commandos Strike Force was pretty awful…
