*Please bear with me as it will take some time to convert and upload both file types. I will try to get them done as soon as possible.
**I do not have a scanner, so I cannot upload the booklet – if anyone else has the ability, please do so.
I’m just gonna grab the MP3s for now, as my set ought to be here by the weekend (fingers crossed). But I’m just too darn impatient to wait for it to show up to listen to ’em!

Thanks Doctor. I could use art for Parts 4-6 for sure!
CBG, I’m slowly working on ’em. They ought to all be up in the next hour or so — I have some errands to do, I hope to get all the covers done before I have to do them.
*ki ki ki ma ma ma*
I’ve finished uploading art for all six discs. If you look too closely at them there are bound to be some rough edges, but I reckon they’ll work real well for iTunes and whatnot. For anyone who’s curious: I used the European poster art for A New Beginning. I’ve always liked it way better than the weird square holed hockey mask poster art.
I agree, that is much better!
You absolutely rule!

Alice Cooper – He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask): http://www.mediafire.com/?a3ako3v84rnffaj
I’ve tagged both songs so that they can be dropped directly into their respective soundtrack folders and fit in with ease. The version of His Eyes that I’ve uploaded is from the 2011 CD re-issue of Autumnal Park, the first time it’s ever been released on CD as far as I know.

Rusty door hinge??? lmao
Try some WD-40, but seriously how are you listening to this what type of audio setup?
If anyone runs across the booklet scans, please let us know, and I’ll do the same.
Thanks again!
Don’t wait up all night lol; I’ll get them posted as soon as I can, more than likely tomorrow.
that happens to me sometimes too, lol
And me lol.
Ah, I see where I got confused: it is from the 2005 re-issue, but Amazon only released the MP3 album last year.
In other news, I’ve been listening to these non-stop all evening. There are very few scores I can listen to endlessly, over and over. Manfredini’s work on the first six Friday films are definitely some of them, though.

Huge thanks for the lossless versions.
Looking foward to the scans. If anyone can provide, it would be perfect… 🙂
Just finished downloading them. Thanks again!
I’m hearing that multiupload has been having some problems lately. I tried uploading a file earlier, but it seemed to freeze up and just said Initializing upload. Did you run into any problems when you were uploading these files? They download fine, but there seem to be some upload issues with the site.
thanks for nothing
thanks for nothing
How can you respond like this ???? herbert west took time to upload these discs and the links worked fine its not his fault !!!!
You need to have some manners …. if you want it that much you should have BOUGHT IT …. how ungrateful are you ????
OH and jjohnni – apparently you haven’t kept up with the news regarding Megaupload – maybe you should google it.

Herbert West,
I’m hearing that multiupload has been having some problems lately. I tried uploading a file earlier, but it seemed to freeze up and just said Initializing upload. Did you run into any problems when you were uploading these files? They download fine, but there seem to be some upload issues with the site.
I didn’t have any issues uploading the files – they worked fine until sometime yesterday; however when I try to access the site, nothing happens…hmm…not a good sign…
Been waiting for one of these. Thank you very much! On a related note, what’s everyone’s favorite so far? It’s a really tough tie between 1, 2, 5, and 6 for me. I love the last track of Part 4 and don’t really care too much for part 3 due to constantly reused stingers and cues.
thanks for nothing
Asshole much?
thanks for nothing
You do realize that he wasn’t forced to post these so be a tad bit more grateful that he did rather than being an ass. Just wait for someone to re-up. On a side note, is anyone even able to load Multiupload today? The page just keeps loading and then times out for me.
I’ve been having issues as well since yesterday afternoon. Not sure what is going on…sucks since that is where I upload all my stuff.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for nothing
news flash! wow! the thing about MU is all over this site and elsewhere on googlelandia… rudeness is not an excuse for being an ignorant so try to be aware of whats happening around you before it bites you in the a##.
Tosser.
Actually, my least favorite is Part 5. When I say "least favorite", I mean that it has less tracks that I enjoy comparing to the other movies. Part 1 is also not THAT enjoyable, but it still tops part 5. Now parts 2, 6, and the original music of parts 3 and 4 are the real boss here…
thanks
You need to have some manners …. if you want it that much you should have BOUGHT IT …. how ungrateful are you ????
Granted, what jjohnni said was rude and uncalled for, but "if you want it that much you should have BOUGHT IT?" Not everybody can afford to drop $70+ on a box set. Heck, I heard with shipping it came closer to $80. That’s a lot of money to drop on one item for some people, myself included. Yes, I really did want this box set, but there was no way I could spend as much as $80 on it. So because someone couldn’t afford it that means they really didn’t want it all that bad? I don’t think so.
Hopefully it can get reuploaded somewhere so that those of us who don’t have spare cash flowing out of our wallets can still enjoy it.

yes i agree , however he is a total ungrateful person and I hope he responds with an apology soon ….
Anyhow. My set showed up in the mail today, signed by Harry Manfredini, Adrienne King, Tom McLoughlin, Nancy McLoughlin and the album’s producer. It’s a very nice set, although I’m surprised by some of the album art and covers (taken from the DVD releases rather than original posters).
I’m up to track 11 of the first disc (Alice Runs to Cabin) and am enjoying it immensely. I forgot just how much I actually like this music, especially from part 1. I’ve never liked the original film as much as the others — I’ve always preferred Jason as the killer — but the music is just masterful, isn’t it? Manfredini took a low budge and made it sizzle. And considering this were lifted from the 5.1 sound stems rather than a master tape, it holds up REALLY well.
I haven’t read the booklet yet, but I did skim through to the Jason Lives section and was slightly surprised to find Manfredini talking about how he had a much bigger orchestra for that film. I don’t know why, but I always thought the score for Jason Lives was entirely synthesized. Apparently not. There are live percussionists on that one, and Manfredini seems to be really proud of that. Can’t wait to listen to Jason Lives, it’s easily my favorite of the bunch.
At last the holy grail of slasher horror and unfortunately the first part just has MU (now removed) and part 2 & 3 have one link on them….could these be put up to another source – or is it just my browser

Ha, thanks. Should’ve made it Ki Ki Ta Ta for Part 5 since it hinted at Tommy being the killer in part 5.

Thanks for doing that codyap09. Seems Multiupload is back up as my links seem to be working after I just checked. At least they are working for now…
It’s not a bit of a problem. I’ll share what I have. I’m going to have to take a break from listening for a while though. This has been on my playlist for 4-5 days now.
You know, prior to listening to this set, I never realized that they changed "ki ki ki, ma ma ma" to "ki ki ki, ta ta ta" in the final moments of A New Beginning. Nice touch on the part of Harry Manfredini. I can’t believe I never noticed it before now.
Oh, I totally get that it averages out to a good price per CD. But at the end of the day, it’s still $70-$80 in one swoop, and I just can’t do that with my limited finances. It’s the same reason I’ve never bought one of those massive "Complete Series" DVD box sets of a television show. It’s like, "Yeah, it may work out to just $5 a disc, but it’s still $180 I’d have to plunk down all at once, and I can’t do that." The only such box set I’ve been able to get was the one for THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS, and that’s only because Time Life offered a payment plan option that made it a little easier to manage paying on a monthly basis for four months.
For those needing re-ups, here are mine. Get ’em before they are gone.

Although a couple of the options (it seemed like the first 2-3) still didn’t work and I had to click around the links available for each download until I could find one that worked, I was ultimately able to get all six. Thank you so much, Cody. 🙂

I just downloaded the Fred Mollin file.
I will try again but the fred mollin but earlier all of the links were not working for that one when i tried, do you remember which specific link it was ?
I bought this cd years ago at ameoba records, but its been misplaced and hearing the 1-6 scores made me want to hear it again.
Thanks again for both of yours responses. and thanks to the person who posted the links for those 3 scores as well, the effort and intent was very much appreciated
Does anyone else on here have a link to Jason X?

It’s still active.
I have a similar problem, it’s difficult to purchase things for recreation. In this case, I was lucky enough to know about it months in advance and started putting aside the odd copper so that I could order it. I had to miss out on some other goodies, but this was way worth it!

Sorry for stepping on your toes in your thread. I think some of the links are blocked here in the U.S. For instance, I clicked on the multiupload link for Part 1 in FLAC, and it’s showing three links (UploadKing, Uploadhere, and Fileserve), and none of those links are accessible to me. That’s why I re-uploaded the FLAC links. Hope that’s okay.

Regardless, it’s a ridiculous speed to download at, it’s like dial up. Would it really be that hard to upload it to another site? Honestly, I would do it for you, or anyone else that asked me to. It’s your choice though; I’m still perfectly thankful that this is here.

Sorry, but no. If someone else here wants to do that, they can. It would be different if a link wasn’t working, but if a download link works, then it works. This set is worth the time.

Once again, if a specific link wasn’t working at all, or the file had been removed, that would be different. But download speeds are completely out of my hands, whether it rapidshare, mediafire, etc. But like I said, if HerbertWest or someone else wants to do it, then they’re more than welcome to.

I’m simply saying that any other file-hosting site doesn’t limit people to those speeds. Mediafire is "unlimited" for everyone.

I understand what you’re saying, but since the links do actually work, I see no real reason to upload to a different site. If it was just one CD, then maybe, but not six. Plus, technically, this was originally uploaded by HerbertWest, so if he wants to re-up at a different site, then that’s completely his call.

Nah man, no worries…re-posting of the links are fine as long as they work for everyone; oh, and I remember the good ol’ ‘Night Flight’ show in the 80’s – awesome avatar!
I hate to ask you this, because I know it’s a pain, but could you possibly re-upload your files to Mediafire or other file-hosting site? I do appreciate that you’ve provided this to the community, but without quick and available means to download it, I’m at a loss. In any case, you may take your time if you wish to peruse other file-hosting options, I just ask that it at least be considered. Thank you!

Now, I’d like to clarify something. If you’ll bother to look at the date I uploaded the FLAC files to rapidshare, it was put there on 1-25-12, which is BEFORE rapidshare started throttling its speeds for free users. If you actually think that I uploaded it there just to make people wait hours to download, then you’re crazy.
Also, if you’d do your homework, you’ll know that this boxed set came out on 1-13-12, and it sold out everywhere within a few days (if not sooner). Obviously a lot of people wanted this set, myself included. Which left us two choices – either buy it the second it came out (which I really wanted to do, but didn’t have the money), or beg and hope that someone would be kind enough to upload it for the rest of us. And that’s when Herbert West stepped up and very generously uploaded it – in beautiful FLAC format, no less. A very very very nice gift that we got FOR FREE. He uploaded this to multiupload, and most of us IMMEDIATELY downloaded it, most probably from megaupload.
Sadly, megaupload then got shut down, and eventually so did multiupload. Keeping in mind that Herbert West was the original uploader, I came here and thought that I would be a nice guy and re-upload the FLAC files. I even told H.W. that I hope I wasn’t stepping on his toes, and he said it was cool. At the time that I uploaded this to RS, we were all having endless discussions about what site was safe and what site wasn’t. At the time, I decided Rapidshare was safe enough (FOR A LIMITED TIME AT LEAST) to upload there. Why? Because at the time, it was giving decent speeds and no long wait times between downloads.
Now, I no longer upload to rapidshare. Now, I would use peeje or mediafire.
My point is, it’s now almost the middle of March, the RS links STILL WORK (slow, yes, but we’ve been through this), and I’d like to remind you that you’re getting a $70 (probably much more on ebay) long-awaited box set of music that most of us never thought would ever see the light of day – FOR – FREE. I can completely understand if the links didn’t work, but they do. So, basically, if you’re complaining that you have to wait a few hours to download a valuable sold-out box set of Friday the 13th music – IN LOSSLESS – FOR FREE (and I’d like to point out that if you complaining now, you’re a little late to the party) . . . then frankly you can go fuck yourself. And have a nice day. 🙂
P.S. – Also, if you’re upset with rapidshare about slow speeds for FREE USERS, then take it up with rapidshare. Keep in mind that they’re a business. They obviously noticed that when megaupload went down, tons of people (with pirated content) came to rapidshare wanting the same that megaupload gave us. It may not be cool what RS did by throttling speeds, but they’re also a business and they don’t want the whole pirate community getting a free ride.
Perfect music of Halloween time.
Huge thanks.

Someone had this on eBay recently for a good price and I bid at the last second and it didn’t go through in time for whatever reason. Then he relisted it with a higher buy it now price and someone snatched it up, ha. Wish I’d managed to get it on the first go-round. That’s how it goes.
Does anyone have a working link for the cover/artwork scans available ?? Thanks a lot !!!
[/COLOR]For those who want ’em, I’m throwing together some quick and dirty cover art for each disc. I’ll edit this post to add each image as I’ve created it.
Ditto for FLAC request/re-up …especially Part 1 (1980).
