I’ve been trying to find this pressing myself, given the sole-presence of that unspeakably dirty, lo-fi digital "release" on the part of E.A.R.S., which simply does very-little (if any) justice to the masterful score that this is.
You’re a lucky son-of-a-gun to have found it.
Thanks for sharing 😀
Aside from this being a pretty good score I have a weak spot for obscure japanese promo releases. It’s nice to add it to the collection.
Indeed, I also have just such a weak spot… Even more-so when the ‘obscure japanese promo release’ happens to be of a non-JP game.
What’s more; the album-cover for this JP release is highly attractive, and certainly shits all-over the cover for the digital release. The latter of which looks like it was put-together by Stevie Wonder, using microsoft paint-95. Whereas on this cd-cov, the kanji just below the "NO" (in "INFERNO) – aside from being aesthetically pleasing on it’s own – really ties the portrait together, as does the worn-looking EA logo in the bottom-left corner.
Ummmm… so, ok; if it isn’t obvious by now, I also have a ‘thing’ for album-covers, on-top-of obscure Japanese promo releases 😛

Also regarding the covers, I think we all know by now that in the country of a rising sun the cover art is almost always put together better than in US or Europe.
This goes for all sorts of media including games, music, animation and cinema.
In this case of Dante’s Inferno the situation is not that bad, since (c’mon let’s face it) the covers are nearly identical and are very close in their content. But there are cases(use to be very common with anime releases) when I could never figure out what on earth were they thinking, they just go find like the worst possible promo artwork available, slap it on the cover and be done with it. Fucking congratulations on the job well done. GitS2: Innocence was a good example of that strategy. Or Ico for PS2. Tasteless dumbasses.
I forgot to say please. So pleeeeaase.
