Yamashita certainly is unique. If he scores for drama we usually get wonderful things like Hana Yori Dango or Chihayafuru. If he goes all out we get the bombastic Garasu no Kantei or Nobunaga’s Ambition. Best part is how unique it all sounds, even in the world of orchestral music, and the EPIC rock-pop-orchestral pieces are almost out of this world. Still looking for a HQ version of Yukan Club.
