Hi all,

Am new to this site and was hoping someone can help me out.

I have been searching for many years for the piece of music used in the scene where Tina see’s Freddy down the alley way and when then starts to chase her, this piece of music is also used in the trailer.

If anyone can shed some light on why this was not included in the soundtrack release or if it is out there somewhere I would be soooooo thankful!

Many thanks!

That cue is on the soundtrack. I don’t remember off the top of my head the title or track #, but it’s there.

No it’s not. I’ve owned three versions of the soundtrack that have been available and it’s not on there. I’ve been looking for this cue myself.

I was just about to say its not in there to!

I swear I’ve read somewhere that Bernstein didn’t compose that bit of music… Maybe why it’s not on the soundtrack?

New? You’ve been here for 2 & 1/2 years!

It could *possibly* be that Bernstein didn’t compose it, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it wouldn’t be on the OST. I’ll do some research and see what I can dig up, although it prob won’t do much good.

Sorry… I mean new as in first post to this site.

That would be great if you could find out more about this particular score!

Well, I double checked my OST and I guess you’re right. For some reason I had thought it was on there. I’ll have to see how cleanly I can rip the Blu-ray

Are you able to rip from Blu Ray and you own Elmstreet 3 too I would love to see you try out that one and especially Ken Harrisons music (the first chase scene, The sleepwalk scene andsome other stuff)

thanks 🙂

The track you refer to is a very VERY difficult one to extract, I’ve been working on a new special edition since 2010, using 2 DVDs and Blu Ray and the ‘Tina’s Chase / Death’ is proving a real bitch, this isn’t the only time in the movie where this track exists and both are not playing fair, this track will have some SFX regardless
… this whole project is intricate, some tracks have other pieces of music edited into. I have a demonstration here, it’s a new track I uploaded to YT: A Nightmare On Elm Street – Supernatural End – YouTube (http://youtu.be/Zlw_d24QlAI?hd=1)

That’s great! Thank you for taking the time to put all these together! I cant wait to hear the score for Tina’s death!

compared to this track, ‘Supernatural End’ is a lullaby in the editing sense
