this has happened to me before. one minute it is working then it isnt. usually active again soon after. so best thing is to just wait it out unless someone mirrors it.

It’s not uncommon for links to be "temporarily unavailable" on megaupload.

JDownloader is having major issues with connecting to megaupload correctly.
JD users will have to wait for an update, or visit the JD forums and see what other people are saying.

It can be from high volume traffic on MU servers, even for Premium users.
Or it can be server maintenance, even without any such notices or warnings.

Multiupload.com is a good alternative.
You only upload to the main site, Multi, and then the site transfers the data to other mirroring sites.

Yeah sorry. I quickly browsed the news and spoke to fast. Actually that’s the invert happening: MU is attacking Universal for abuse of censoring.

… Mmhh, still, some weird things happened recently.

Edit: However there’s a big battle to make the SOPA law exist in america currently. What’s incredible is that the MU/Universal case just revealed somthing incredible: Universal looks to have right – or power enough – to shut down ANY video on Youtube (they had not the least right to censor the MU video on Youtube cause that’s what happened: a video publicity for MU on Youtube with some famous artists who were paid for it. These ones are either linked to UMG or Universal).

So, not the kind of attack I thought, but still not a least one.

Am I the only one that thinks these three bonus tracks are really pointless? They add nothing to the overall score, only annoying songs that I’d skip if they every appeared in my playlist. Personally, these bonus tracks are a waste.

I don’t know what translator you use that translates reupload into reolpoat, but you should try to fix that. Also, there won’t be any reolpoats in 320kbps because as far as I know, these digital tracks are only available in 256kbps. Maybe somebody can correct me. I’m waiting to receive the CD for Christmas, in which case I will then be looking into getting these three bonus tracks myself.

Yeah, I saw theeaglesfan005 having issues with it before. Patience is the key for a lot of these things. Are these bonus tracks just remixes or are they like what we got for Inception? You know, more music from the movie that wouldn’t fit on the OST for whatever reason?

Thankfully, we got the demos–the complete demos no less. But I am starting to understand how they go about selecting tracks to go on the OST and why, at least, some of the cues get left off. (I wonder if the recording sessions might ever see the light of day, even if what we get is incomplete like what we now have for CotBP and AWE.)

After the success of the first SH, you’d think the last thing that they would do would short Zimmer’s budget but his career has been rather uneven over the last few years. I don’t mean to upset fans of the composer but we all know that Zimmer can do better than this.

i could not agree with you anymore! the first SH score is far superior. I enjoyed this at first and listened to it a few times before returning to the the first one and in my honest opinion, the first score is all you need. i love Hans Zimmers scores passionately however Hans himself is starting to lose that passion he once truly had. Hopefully TDKR will put him back at the top!

I have hope but so far we’ve only been given tiny snippets of the score, mainly Bane’s chant plus some original trailer music. So far it sounds pretty good but only time will tell.

Somtimes it makes me wonder why JNH didnt return to partner up with hans for the 3rd and final time. (what i think) Maybe he realised after using quite a lot of repeated cues from BB on TDK with different variations that when the third movie would come into play he wasnt ready to repeat himself again (but i maybe wrong).

I had read that Zimmer is taking on full scoring duties for TDKR because JNH was busy with another score to return for another collaborative effort and in my opinion, I’m gonna hate not being able to hear his contributions to this film. I expect that Zimmer will no doubt produce a good score but I just don’t have faith in his solo scoring abilities anymore. But I have hope for TDKR since it’s Zimmer’s first venture alone into the Batman franchise and he did do some pretty impressive work on the other two movies. We can only wait and see how it turns out. I’m just excited to hear the Bane chant incorporated into the full score.

Irregardless, I wasn’t pleased with the album as, in my opinion, it came across as a very cheap presentation compared to SH which had a very distinct and very well contemplated sound which made for an enjoyable album. This album just came across as a cheap amalgamation of weird experimental techniques and samples that in several occasions are pretty good but it just didn’t click with me like the original. I wasn’t attributing the lower quality to budgetary reasons as you can notice I also referenced Zimmer’s declining quality in his music plus I know even if he was given a lower budget that couldn’t accomodate an orchestra he has an endless supply of samples that he can just slap together irregardless. I have heard those scores and so I know SH: GOS’s low quality is probably not attributed to the budget.

Hopefully Mr. Zimmer is concentrating hard on The Dark Knight Rises! I can’t wait for that one!

When the strings pulsate at 1:43 in Tick Tock, one can’t help but marvel at the low-budget nature of the samples (much like what low budget video game scores suffer from, except we’re dealing with quite a big budget film here). To add on, there are many synthetic elements that persist in their nuisance. Some grating examples would include the horrible electronic noise at 2:29 in Tick Tock and the noise at 0:18 in Zu viele Fuchse fur euch.

Even in Zimmer’s world it’s sometimes hard to hear a sample especially when you see and hear how crazy fun the recording sessions really were. I don’t have enough musical knowledge to even pinpoint how much of Zimmer’s score is real mainly because it often switches from samples to orchestral to a mixture of both but since both sound essentially one in the same at times, it makes nitpicking particular problems a bit more difficult. Those are just the few I managed to pick up on.

A similar track list appears for all of his Harry Potter DVD rips. The people over at Porko Rosso’s Harry Potter megathread say that there really is not a difference between all the alternates as far as they can tell. It’s just a bunch of unnecessary, excessive duplicates. I may have asked once myself, but I can’t remember what he said. Let’s wait, now.

Actually, the bonus track "Follow My Lead" is actual score. It underscores the Peace Summit scene, as Sherlock and Simza (and then Sherlock and Watson) dance together while scanning the ball for clues, looking for Renee and Sherlocks invitation for Moriarty to join him on the balcony. I still find it dispesible though personally, as it could also be described as "source/score" as it begins with, includes and intertwines with the waltz they are actually dancing to at the ball… but soon becomes ominous as the plot unravels.

But ultimately I agree with Dimensioner in that the bonus cues are nothing essential and hardly missed on the standard OST.
