Ah…I’ve been wondering forever if your name was pronounced do-crate, or if it was something else. So rightfully you are Doc Rate? I’m glad that was clarified to me, lol.

Nope. it is Docrate. I just like to be confused with Doc Faustus. :p. So it is pronounced Docrate, just like Socrates, but with a D and minus an S. 🙂

Actually, this is an old nick I use since I got on the Internet, in the glorious days of 56kbps modems. At that time I had a small website (nothing fancy) concerning Saint Seiya, in which there is a character called docrate. who appears in two or three episodes before being beaten to death by the heroes.

I could ask for a name change…but I don’t want to. I love this nickname. 12 years old and still going strong.
