I mean, take the fact that games of all kinds these days include the most explicit, visceral gore and violence you could imagine. People getting hacked in half, exploding in showers of blood that coats your characters etc. We have games like Persona that have kids accessing super powers by shooting themselves in the head etc etc. And all that’s fine and dandy, rarely rousing the censors to action, much less the larger media and politicians etc.
But put sex in a game, even when they are extremely tame and often about as erotic as having dental surgery, and BAM! – 18 certificate for you. Or even an outright ban in some cases (Rule of Rose etc). Its absurd and insulting, because its just people who know nothing about games and care nothing about games, trying to score a few cheap political points, keep in good with the moral rights lobby groups etc etc.
honestly dont care if the enemy is alive or dead. they are a bunch of pixels and they all bleed the same. and i play them both with a huge smile on my face.
I heard about it,and it would seem far less violent than something from dead rising for an example.
Dead rising allows you to literally hack enemies to bits with all sorts of weapons.
What about resident evil 5? It was censored a lot,taking out decapitation all together.If they keep this up,we will have no videogames at all.
