NOEL (unreleased score by Alan Menken) (FLAC)

Here is the unreleased score by Alan Menken to the 2004 film "Noel." Included is the song "Winter Light," co-written by Stephen Schwartz, and sung by Adam Pascal. As the film was a drama, Menken’s music is of a more restrained, bittersweet type—don’t expect cheery sleigh ride music!

10 tracks totaling 27 minutes.
Audio Quality: good stereo sound. No dialog or sound efx.
Tau Analyzer & EAC both indicated a mixture of lossy and lossless, suggesting this is something a fan put together. Tracks 1 & 2 are the most suspicious tracks—not showing a lossy cut-off, but with the normally smooth "curtain" interrupted with lots of black. The other 8 look like real lossless, though one of them (track 5) looks like it was 2 separate tracks joined together at the 0:42 point.

Thanks a lot!! I love that score. It’s just too bad the first two tracks seem to be unavailable with a proper sound. Tested with Spectro, these two are still lossy. The others seem to be genuine 😀

I know the italicized comment was not meant to be critical. I’m just thinking that people might misinterpret it to mean that when something is offered in FLAC it means the music will have superior quality and be uncompressed (lossless), and that isn’t necessarily true. FLAC dupes whatever is on the disc, just in a smaller file size.

I 100% agree with you. It sure wasn’t a criticism I just wanted to say I was disappointed ‘caus these two first tracks are still lossy. Considering they come from what looks like to be an original CD lossless copy it is disappointing but you’re not the one to blame that’s for sure ^^
