Dear God, that last track … what can this woman not do with just a minute of music. She comes dangerously close to dethroning Sahashi as my number two japanese composer. If she also gets a session with the LSO like Sahashi and Hisaishi my life would be complete (music-wise).

Yummy Chinese orchestral score, the sound of the erhu sends shivers down my spine. It is the first track list to make me salivate (until I saw the raw jellyfish!). Thanks Nikitos.

Just listening it right now.. the sound is sometimes too "overlapping" but it suits the chinese people character. Some of the the work reminds me to the OST from Yamada Tarou Monogatari, especially the "grande" sounds. If I didn’t know this is Michiru’s work, I would assumed it was worked by composer of Yamada Tarou.

Overall, a nice one. At least, we can see how she handle something really out of japanese character.

and yes.. to some sounds… i really feel hungry… uh! >.<
