Have you ever thought about either of those possibilities?

– Not having the required Hard Drive space to download something which could be three/four times the size of decent-quality lossy encode;

– Not having enough bandwidth available? Even in this day and age there are a lot of users which have data caps (not every place has decent Internet connection/Internet connection "plans").

– The user might not care at all about lossless quality, appreciating a lossy alternative, instead.

Also, another thing for you to think about: you obviously have your preference, when it comes to audio quality, other users have theirs, respect that and generally mind your own business. You come off as somewhat of a prick. Why? A large part of your reply (as well as its tone) is uncalled for. Either help the user, if you feel like doing that, or stay put and don’t bother replying just to say something like that.
