5.1 as in 5.1 Surround Sound. 6 speakers: front left, front right, center, LFE (Low Frequency Emitter, aka the sub), rear left and rear right. Stereo is 2 channels: left and right. It’s available in 5.1 because it’s the isolated score from the Blu-ray. If you don’t have a 5.1 system it’s a waste of space so stereo is better. A late answer, but I’m sure others will see this.

Better late than never brother thanks for the info. I know scorepranos posted the complete score, but did the actual isolated blu ray score get shared? I now the x training montage was different in film than that included in the complete score and sessions. Plus the end credits suite is still no where to be found. I wonder if those ever surfaced. 🙂
