It is the Japanese/PAL version, but to clarify this isn’t the same music as the music that will be in the upcoming Sonic CD remake. The songs are looped differently to be streamed better in the game, as well as the CD remake has both the American and the Japanese/European versions as selectable soundtracks to play with.
