oh and game doesn’t use WWise. 😉
Also you can get tracknames from the pc version. 🙂
I have to say this music is really good and a lot of these tracks still have that Hans Zimmer feel to it which is awesome 🙂
BTW: Are the files split into front and rear channels again, such as in MW2? Hope not, but if it has to be….
Spec Ops, Single and Mulityplayer menu music is in OST, after all (in "Paris Siege", forgot other tracks).

Nope.
For SFX yes, the music seems to be stereo. However, they cropped the bitrate down to 32khz (except three lossless tracks), which is why I didn’t even care to continue cleaning up the naming conventions on the files. Here’s what I have so far.
2011 | Brian Tyler | Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 | 163 files | 189:10 min. | 220 MB | Gamerip (PC)

Brian Tyler has 10 tracks from the OST on his website. They are 320kbps, 48kHz tracks which is better quality than what is on the official release.
In terms of bitrate, the PC version seems to be identical with the PS3 version. Haven’t checked the 360 version, though.

Depends. iTunes often has no visible cutoff. MP3s do.
Is this PC rip contains track names? I’d love to have Rip like MW2, with proper tagging.
The MP3s are not tagged at all and the tracknames contain the mission they are used in., not the titles Brian Tyler gave them.
Thank you for sharing the full rip!!!!!
I really didn’t do anything special on this one. And as I said before, the quality (32khz, low bitrate, high volume) sucks.Better hope for a nice bootleg leak.
1. Lorne Balfe (Themes by Hans Zimmer)
2. Harry Gregson-Williams
3. Brian Tyler
4. Sean Murray
Oh and btw, Xbox 360 version has better quality. 😉
funny as i was just listening to your rip and it seems fine, or rather wonderful sounding to me with my SennH. head phone…
but an upgrade if really there is some kind of a minor setback then it would always be a welcome upgrade.
btw B.Tyler’s work here is awesome in my book! 😀

How is Sean Murray’s music anywhere near epic?
Good question… at least he’s in the bottom.
Sean murray is the best for there world at war/black ops storyline.

Because Black Ops score is quite badass for what it was going for?

Stupid question: The PC rip on here (1st page) has 172 tracks; VGM Legacy’s PC rip has 170 tracks…..
Im guessing tAlphas is superior?
