My dubstep collection is limited to three Ephixa Zelda remix tracks.
But my knowledge of what qualifies as dubstep is a bit blurry, so i might have a couple more that qualify.

I was into dubstep for a little bit, liked how different and crazy it sounded, but it only lasted a few weeks before going back to good ol’ metal.

I wouldn’t call myself a regular listener, but every now and there I enjoy a good dubstep mix. 😉

Ephixia surely has some good zeldastep tracks.

That’s a beautiful track right there…

I wouldn’t necessarily call that dubstep or even chill dubstep. It’s probably more in the category of post-trip hop.

I’m generally not a fan, but there have been a few dubsteppy tracks I’ve liked…

Pantyraid – Beba – YouTube (http://youtu.be/i8dXYkc9xbQ)

And this one I kinda dig just ’cause it’s so over-the-top…

TC – Where’s My Money (Caspa Remix) – YouTube (http://youtu.be/ZJ04B5iO1tc)

What about Chiptunes from 8BitPeoples (http://8bitpeoples.com)? That’s what I like, Especially Computer Savvy (http://www.8bitpeoples.com/discography/zip/8BP121) by The J. Arthur Keenes Band, and music from keygenerators (I don’t support piracy I just go to Keygen Jukebox (http://keygenjukebox.com/). When I see someone supporting piracy I use http://s168.photobucket.com/albums/u189/sxstr/snazzyspace/graphicfolder/random/hater.gif to remove the hatred of paying for GOOD CONTENT that people spent their time to make)

I’ve yet to hear a GOOD song in that genera.

Alot of them actually have nice tunes until the bass kicks in and its all WUB WUB WUB WUB WUB. For a short 20 second clip, I actually like Skrillex – Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites, and then it LITERALLY becomes noise, not music, just noise.

There’s a few types of dubstep. One being the traditional route of utilizing space with the percussion, heavy sub bass, and generally a more "chill" vibe. The other type of dubstep is the heavy stuff that is more party, upbeat songs with "drops" (ya know? when the bass kicks in and its all WUB WUB WUB). I like both, but to say the drop of a dubstep piece is not music is just silly. No, it’s not exactly Beethoven-esque during these drops, but that’s not the intention. It’s a part of a song to move you while utilizing effects, samples, and many rhythms.
