Michael Linn’s "Allan Quartermain and the Lost City of Gold" consist mostly of bridges he wrote between cues
from the Goldsmith score for "King Solomon’s Mines", which was being re-used for the back-to-back-shot sequel.
The CD contains almost all of the material used also in the La-La-Land release, which seems to indicate that’s all there is.
Poledouris’s "Making the Grade" is well-known and has since been re-released individually, but the remaining
three suites all contain previously unreleased material, some of it very nice (like the 20-minute Piovani).
Enjoy – And Saying "Thanks" Never Hurt Anyone!
