How nice! Back when Emmerich and his people did everything the hard way and improvised the hell out of models and single set shootings! Hell, I even saw it twice in the cinema (but only because there wasn’t anything better to watch.)

Not a great movie by any means (hey, there are Michael Par AND Leon Rippy in it) but still pleasant to watch (compared to Lorca and the Outlaws) with a story that makes sense (especially when compared to Lorca and the Outlaws).

The music by Jerry’s son Joel is solid – no more no less – and, fortunately, they released it completely on this cd. There’s some repetition going on but that’s kinda ok.

I like this film. Forget Pare. He does nothing for me in it. This is one of the few films that has Brian Thompson in a semi-decent role for once. I have always rather liked him since I first saw him on Werewolf and Key West years ago. Great voice that guy and IMHO he’s a highly underrated actor. He can be very funny, BT, and of course him just taking off a shirt, that’s impressive as heck to watch! I think that’s half the reason I still watch Moon44 from time to time, just to see him walking around in a towel! The face is a bit rough, though I kind of like it, but man, has that guy got a nicely sculpted physique! Stephen "Evil Ed" Geoffreys (from Fright Night) is in it too, in another nicely kooky role and of course Malcolm McDowall is in it too, another plus. Didn’t know they’d released a score for it though, so thanks!

Thank you for posting this score. I love Jerry Goldsmith, but I’ve yet to experience any of his son’s works. I’m anxious to find out if he inherited any stylistic traits from his father.

Could someone please re-upload this? The Filesonic link is no good after they turned off third-party downloads due to the Megaupload snafu. =/

if you haven’t mentioned i might not have known Joel Goldsmith had also passed away…

He’s had some great music in the TV series Witchblade and Stargate. But one thing i will always remember is his score for the B-Movie Maniac Cop 3!
