I’m pretty sure this score was proven to be a fake. But that’s just what I’ve heard. I’m sure there’s someone else who can give you a more definitive answer. Apparently it’s really easy to fake a rejected score.

The rejected score that was leaked is indeed fake, because what’s being passed around is the John Frizzell score of ‘Primeval’.
However a recording of the rejected score exists. Howard Shore confirmed it somewhere in a interview that he would like to release it someday, but to this day the rejected score has never surfaced in any official or bootleg edition.
