Can you keep a monster in the air for long enough to kill it?
Once you get to the open world and get max or almost maxed out,you should be able to really beat up enemies really bad.

The enemies on the world map die really fast when you break their meter, which happens ultra fast and especially with fang.Fang is a beast and hits really hard.

Oh good,i was afraid that my impulsive behavior would get me in trouble.

Its funny to watch fang and lightning slap huge enemies around like they are made of cardboard.

If you’re in ch 11 (which it sounds like you are, since you’re saying world map), I recommend heading for the cave (Mahabara) as soon as you can and maxing the 3 native roles for everyone. This will get you where you need to be to power-grind and do missions 1-26 and 28.

Run back and forth from the entrance to the area at the end of the left fork in the path. You can engage the Juggernaut there and reset to replace the enemy sets near it on your return trips.

You’ll be a little underpowered, so run straight to the cave and use characters that have lightning and fire spells. Basically, not Snow. I usually used Light, Vanille, and Hope. As you get stronger you can use Snow and Fang to just decimate them, but at first you’ll want to kill the bombs fast because they will OHKO you with self-destruct, initially, and then just decrease CP earned as you become strong enough to survive it.

You can get pre-emptive strikes on the big groups of automatons and use quake to break them all. Regaining TP to keep doing this isn’t hard given how much you get for killing those groups quickly this way.

Launch is one of the most enjoyable skills in the game, for my money. After a certain point, there are few regular enemies that can survive being juggled by Snow and Fang, in tandem. It’s only deadlier when you add Light to that mix.

Um that was actually a previous game, but i did something terribly stupid actually:I erased all the save files on my xbox360 deleting my progress.

Thanks for the recommendation though.I think used to grind there for boms or whatever they were called to update my weapons.

Another place:there was a place i would go to kill some really big ugly mechanical guys who drop circuit chips and stuff that upgrades weapons really well.It was inside of a cave with a behemoth of some sort as a boss.I think it was a giant robot in chapter 13.

Most enemies on the map used to die really fast to me,except for for shaolong gui and adamantoise.

Shaolong gui is supposed to be one of the most powerful enemies in the game.I know that in order to get the last sphere, you needed to beat the game, and i was pretty much at that point of the game.

Shaos aren’t very difficult. I got all my Dark Matters in a few hours.

There’s a great technique for Long Guis that actually lets you farm them for Traps. Only takes about 4 minutes. With the drop rate being double than for Adamantoise, it’s totally worth it.
