The music of Ace Combat is so epic. Shooters like BF and COD should go into the same direction in terms of music

Ohh and thanks a lot I’m a big fan of the series.

Why the heck hasn’t this thread gotten more replies? This music is positively EPIC. Northwest Sinfonia has been involved in some mediocre scores in the past (Gears of War 3) but this soundtrack proves that production, mixing and composer skill has a lot to do with that. This is Northwest Sinfonia pushed to the limit, beyond even Halo ODST and Reach, by an excellent group of composers.

Imagine if Gears of War 3 or Modern Warfare 3 sounded like this. It would’ve been enough to make a Family Guy-hater like me go "giggity giggity giggity".

This is how to make kickass Remote Control-type scores. We’ve just been schooled in America’s (unfortunately) favorite type of film and movie score by foreigners. If that is not a damning indictment of how terrible film and video game scores have become in the United States I don’t know what is.
