I’m missing a layer… there’s extra music in the DLC that I don’t have to make the soundtrack complete. Worse, those puzzle songs (the Corrupted Pool, Windmill and Rotating Platform) have about 7-8 layers each, comprising of the different instrumental solos and the drums (basically, 4 variations = 4 drum patterns and 4 instrument patterns).

It’s going alright. OK, here’s what I’m gonna do.
Each track I finish, I’m gonna upload onto YT or MediaFire, depending on the copyright thing. That way, at least y’all know my progress on the OST.

I’m trying my level best to download this dude’s torrent so I know the intro’s and ending’s to each song.

It’d be better if you could download the entire torrent and then upload it via mediafire or depositfiles. Those 2 sites give me the best speed when my connection works properly.

well, if it’s not too much trouble, could you also up a V0 rip? Why not do both, as many like vbr as well, and I think this one will be popular.

i named tracks exactly like in game by the zone.i played pop 2008 50 times and i heard enough for know how give them name.when u are in city of light u hear only these tracks 67,68,69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83 ,84.In royal palace,ruined citadel and the vale the same(not67…….84)
I named tracks by specified zone because they dont released an original soundtrack.
In the forgotten sands the same thing:

amount of links doesn’t really matter if there’s no waiting period/max downloads limitations….

You can also check out Peeje.com – same as mf, but allows up to 1 gb/file – however, they sometimes will lose your upload 🙁

@ Veracocha – I can’t remember when exactly nitoivoirel1 posted the links but I also managed to download the FLAC version at high speeds around a week and half ago. Which is quite recent if you ask me, so not too long ago, but when I started to download the mp3 version, it was suddenly capped at about 25 – 30kb/s. Which was why I posted for someone to reupload on another filehost, cos downloading just one 450-500mb file from a batch of 5 for 4hours is mentally challenging (lol). Jeez this is 2012 not 2001 (broadband speed not dial up)

What a dick move by rapidshare. Oh well, I guess it will only drive most uploaders elsewhere.

I have a question:
As I noticed the TTT soundtrack is ripped in 24kHz, I wonder whether this is a real extraction (from low quality original audio files) or just recorded. I searched for a physical copy of the OST, but there doesn’t seem to be one. How can that be? The 4th and 5th part had an official CD soundtrack, why not this one?
I also downloaded the game from gog.com, it comes with an "exclusive" soundtrack which is 44,1kHz but MP3 192 -.-
Any suggstions where to find a HQ OST? Thanks for help of any kind 🙂

Nicejob and I had tools to extract music (from POP2008) from the PC version. It’s from the DataPCStreamedSounds.forge file. No audio recordings, this is actually 48kHz rip. The PC version is in OGG and the Xbox is in XMA format, but the quality is still brilliant compared to T2T, and T2T has an amazing soundtrack. I was actually willing to buy the iTunes version (256k AAC) to replace the MP3 VBR that Jessie posted a few years back.

Well Alpha23’s currently doing a gamerip from all the consoles, so it’s renewed my interest in compiling a complete score. Whatever music I could extract using DecUbiSndGUI was not all of the music in the game. Some of the tracks ripped that way often came corrupted. I only want this thread closed down because when I first made the thread, I had no idea what the distinction between recording sessions and complete score meant. Maybe one day in future I will revisit this…
