The Contagion score was upconverted, too! you can hear the difference between a real 320kbps MP3 direct-source rip and a crappy rip. This score was most likely ripped from an online source.

it can be purchased off itunes or amazon.. itunes will give you the m4a 256kbps (which is equivalent to mp3 320kbps).. amazon mp3 is mp3 256kbps

im waiting for my cd version to be sent, supplier says it’s on order, so no idea when it will happen, as i don’t think it’s been released in the UK on cd so is an import 🙁

The thing is, I don’t think the actual score is Academy Award Winner material, but it’s good. I know/hope/pray/ am confident that Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross will win again this year for "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" score. What I’ve heared so far is AMAZING!! The full score is bound to be an earthquake!

Yeah, the CD version was only released in the states i think, but the place i ordered it from is a big retailer and generally pretty good for these sorts of things, plus they had it at a reasonable price (no more expensive than a normal release here) so i’ll hold off for the moment, though i may come back to you if they can’t get it – last i checked they were waiting for their suppliers to come back to them. Been 2 weeks now.
