DARK SOULS Soundtracks – VGMdb (http://vgmdb.net/album/29132)
Note: My front CD itself does not label itself as DARK SOULS ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK (http://vgmdb.net/album/26577) or DARK SOULS Original Soundtracks (http://vgmdb.net/album/26033), but is labelled as DARK SOULS Soundtracks. Thus, I titled my CD-rip as DARK SOULS Soundtracks. This soundtrack is from a Limited Edition where it has the game, artbook, soundtrack, behind the scenes DVD, and a code to download to download digital game guide. However, the tracklists are the same as other two soundtrack versions.

Like I said earlier, don’t download it if you don’t like the quality, bitrate, or whatever.
EDIT: Apparently, the track names listed on my CD and the tracks itself are messed up. Thus, I arranged it accordingly through VGMDB and hearing the each songs fro Youtube for proper labeling. You can now download from the new link above.
Thanks for the upload.
Which version of the game do you got ? European, US, Japanese ?

The picture he used is the European version, and his description fits perfectly. The US version has the soundtrack only as digital download.
You are correct. My Limited Edition is from Europe region.
and a code to download digital game guide
Would you consider to share it, please? Thanks in advance regardless of the answer, and for taking the time to read this.
Yup! I don’t like to use "soundtrack" because that’s the term companies use for when it’s nothing but a bunch of songs not even related to the movie. This is a score. That is the professional, proper term and I like to use it. 🙂

I could upload it by next week.
Dude, the track names are wrong =/
Fix the track names yourself. I can’t upload the soundtrack again just because the track names are wrong. Besides, I labelled the track names from what I read in the CD’s cover, not VGDMB info.

Dual Wielder.. what I actually meant is, the song order and names were right, but the audio was from another track(example: the track5 had the audio from track 6 and the track 6 had the audio from the track 5).
I fixed the tags and reuploaded the file for you.
Would you mind to update the thread links?

I would say that the tracks itself are not labelled properly. Probably my CD was misprinted, but the track lengths are explicitly labelled with the track names in order on the front of the CD. I have to check whether the VGMdb page has any changes later.
we (vgmdb) can’t really update tracktimes/tracklists until we do have decent informations.
Maybe a scan/good photo of your tracklist could help.
Matter is we still do not have the Japanese version and have to trust the tracklist posted at vgmdb for it.
Edit: The digital soundtrack of the US version has a significantly different track order. I’ll ask for a clearer photo of the above to confirm if we got the wrong order for the Japanese version…
Edit 2: The track order on VGMdb turned out to be a mess after the first half, fixed it based on both the Japanese and US version (which both happen to use the same order) . Would be nice to have confirmation that this matches with the European version as well now.
Can you get a better picture ?
I saw you corrected the tracklist on vgmdb.. i haven’t verified everything but it’s still wrong:
I can see on the photo track 5 is "Pinwheel" and not 6 like you changed.
@dual wielder:
Any chance you could take a photo of your tracklist (cellphone..etc..) ?

Unfortunately, I had a lousy cellphone, thus getting rather poor quality images. I might borrow my friend’s phone to capture the tracklists tomorrow.
Edit: He wrote Gaping Dragon is track 5, after Bell Gargoyle. So the current track list is correct as far as I’m concerned and I’ll stop worrying for now.
Which version of the game this photo is from ?
Also, the photo of the disc posted by the The Dual Wielder does not correspond to the disc seen on the opening posts.
I do think the US package is on blue color tone, while the European package should be on red color tone (http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps3/606312-dark-souls/images).

And I ask you back. How should I know? I just got that image by Google because it corresponds with Dark Souls (Limited Edition) Europe version. The guidebook definitely is not hard cover, as it is in digital form. The soundtrack CD is in red instead of blue, and the behind-the-scenes DVD is in black, not blue. Plus, mine has the code to download the guidebook.
I also re-posted the tracklist & tracktimes for the Japanese version from a lossless encode, so they should be right.
It confirm that the tracklists are the same on the Japanese & European versions.
I do not have any confirmation for the US digital version though, so i hope it’s alright to assume they are also on the same order.
If anyone have that version, could you confirm it’s available with a voucher code (or any other mean ?) and the order of the tracks ?

The digital version is not the same order for unknown reasons. No idea how to prove that though, screenshot of the file list?
Depends.. If you got it legitimately [that means you own it yourself because you bought the game], you can either (depends how the album was available, i have no idea):
– take a shot/photo of the tracklist if it’s written somewhere on the package (booklet, jacket, disc itself…)
– take a shot/photo of the tracklist/mp3 if it’s available on the cd
– take a shot/photo of the tracklist/mp3 where you downloaded it
– take a shot/photo of the tracklist/mp3 with the original downloaded archive (opened)
This also applies to the Limited Editions for Europe. My code is not working as well, and need to wait until Namco Bandai fixes this matter. Perhaps once I get the digital soundtrack, I will upload it here as well.

The EU digital soundtrack also has the same tracklist as the US digital soundtrack. The track orders are different compared with Japanese version and my own CD. I also have found out that my CD actually follows the track order as in US digital soundtrack, but the track names follow the Japanese soundtrack. Perhaps this is an error in printing. Can you add the error information in the EU version soundtrack?
A digital version for Europe ? I thought the EU limited edition came with a CD. Which version of the game on EU comes with a digital soundtrack ?
The Europe Limited Edition apparently has the code to download a digital soundtrack, digital mini strategy guide, behind-the-scene videos and a digital map. It has the physical soundtrack CD (which I ripped for this thread) and the hardcover artbook as well.
So that means that your track on the EU CD for track 19 is called "The Ancient Dragon" (EU #19 tracklist), but it’s in fact "Bed of Chaos" (JP #19 tracklist) ? Tracktime for that track on the Japanese release is ~ 3 minutes 38 seconds.
Is anyone else is able to report the same thing ? I hate to have so few confirmations.
EDIT: nvm, it’s the second track. still aching for the demon’s souls one though…

Yes, with a lot of other tracks, such as track 5 supposed to be Gaping Dragon, track 6 supposed to be Pinwheel, and etc. The tracklisting for my CD is exactly the same with the Japanese tracklist, but the tracks in the CD follow the digital version soundtracks.
EDIT: nvm, it’s the second track. still aching for the demon’s souls one though…
Both games only have incomplete official soundtracks. For demon’s souls there is a complete rip called "unofficial soundtrack", search for it. For dark souls at the very least the character creation bgm is missing, likely some more, I’m sure someone will do a complete rip for it sometime as well…
i heard the ps3 version has different music from the xbox version, is this true?
Don’t know what you are talking about, since I did not have that problem downloading it from my links.
