Board help. Question to allieviate large first post problems.

I’ve been having trouble with my large GACKT thread for some time, and now it seems I can’t update the first post at all. I do have the second post in the thread reserved for updates and I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to tap into it to use it for listing links. Is it possible for mod powers to take another post of mine and move it to be the new second post and keep the original second as the new third? I know other people are having similar problems as well.

Well before the board update it gave me problems with timing out, but if I went and looked at the post it updated anyways. Now after the board update, the post won’t update at all. I know Leon is having the exact same problem with his strat guide thread too.

I don’t know if it will be helpful, but just in case…

When I click Edit Post->Save Changes I get this:

With the same amount of text still in the field Go Advanced gives me this:

Anyway, I think I’ve found a temporary workaround to the problem: shorten the amount of text, it worked for my thread. It seems that the forum can’t handle lenghty OPs, or maybe we just broke the character limit.

next time one of you get that error, save the error page. i need the whole thing not a screenshot, some text is hidden

Having a problem at the moment with it not letting me go advanced.

This is what comes out of me just adding a few words. I didn’t know exactly which way you wanted the page saved so I saved it all 3 ways firefox allows. (tried to put this in the post as an attachment but couldn’t…. never used that feature before so I might be doing that wrong)

I just gave a test edit to my post and it saved the edit this time 🙂 But now it’s doing the thing it used to do before the board update…
