Here’s a reup. 320kbps only, unfortunately. I would love to get my hands on FLAC if it’s available too. Trust me, this score deserves it!
It is incredible how much talent and love has been poured into this score, for an obscure Polish animated feature that never even got a soundtrack release until Korzeniowski made it big in Hollywood. A huge kudos has to be given to the folks at La La Land for taking a chance on releasing this score, because I certainly don’t want to think of a world where a score as amazing as this is left to fade into obscurity. Powerful and poignant while also lush and sincere, Copernicus Star is a beautiful score, the best aspect for me being its masterful transitioning from playful innocence to quasi-religious fanfares and back again. I can clearly imagine in my head a journey a character could take just through the music and cue titles alone. What an incredible, hidden gem.
