Done by request, these soundtracks were a lot more challenging than usual, because the games share many tracks. Depending on which order you play the games, the order that you’ll hear the songs will change, and there’s a couple you might not hear at all. I placed them as if you played Ages first.
Tracks play twice, have an eight second fadeout and two seconds of silence.
Includes both games’ GBS files.

EDIT: I can no longer re-up should the files go down, sorry.
Different Gameboy models have different sound, and in the end it’s pretty much a question of taste: "Does the music sound good?"
Between foo_gep (Foobar’s most popular VGM plugin) and VBA-M, it’s hard to say.
Foo_gep definitely has more emphasis on higher frequencies than VBA-M, whether that makes it better or worse is a question of taste.
As for me, i haven’t decided yet which i like better.
I thought NEZPlug++ was actually suppose to be more technically accurate than foo_gep for Game Boy? I think foo_gep sounds better, but that doesn’t necessarily mean more accurate. Either way, I’ve used foo_gep for all my GBS transcodes so far.
I think that was the one i tested with winamp when i did my first soundtrack. It occasionally cut out whole channels of audio.
Would it be possible to create a second track list with Seasons first, then Ages? I’m not asking you to retag everything and reupload it, I can do that myself. Just another track list in the order of Seasons being played first, then Ages, that I can use to retag the songs and change the order myself. I ask this because Seasons is always put before Ages in any official media, so it makes sense for the soundtrack to be that way, too.
Basically i would just find the tracks common to both games, and move those tracks from the Ages folder to the Seasons folder, and put them in approximately the right places. Otherwise the tracklist remains unchanged.

Oh, if it’s too much trouble then don’t worry about it. I just thought it might be pretty easy for you to do it since you put them in order one way already. That’s fine, though, thanks a lot for the sound track!
Anyway, love your Zelda game rips so far! Hope to see more in the future. =)
The hard part though is finding the time to do it. So it’s a ‘maybe’.
Glad you like it 🙂
