Original EverQuest Soundtrack – A Musical Journey Through Norrath

Just leaving something I got some time ago in a torrent. Presenting, EverQuest 1 Music!!! This soundtrack album has 42 tracks of your favorite EQ music. Everything from the main theme to the Kelethin area theme to the Freeport Bard Guild theme. Simply put, this is a compilation of songs and music from the popular MMORPG EverQuest arranged in an immersive manner for nostalgic enjoyment.

The full name of the album is A Musical Journey Through Norrath. Tracks are in 128Kbps, but considering the original music was midi, I don’t think this is going to be a problem for many.

Oh sweet, awesome! Everquest is one of those really tricky soundtracks since it’s ripped/recorded from MIDI files and everyone’s soundboard plays them a little differently. I had downloaded some higher quality files way back in the early 2000s and got a somewhat more "complete" rip of similar quality a couple years ago, but it was still missing songs that I had ripped in very low quality for my own enjoyment like the "Market Square" song and the "Freeport Bard’s Guild" (I always knew it as Stormhammer Keep in Kaladim, but I guess each player had their own separate experiences with the songs in their starting cities). This rip is close to perfect! Part of me still wishes I could find a rip from my old soundboard though… How does one go about converting the old EQ audio files to mp3 anyway?

I’m bumping this since I came back a couple of days ago to Everquest Online Adventures for the Playstation 2 and am a little hyped for all things EQ. Enjoy!!!
