I know you’re all getting pretty tired of all the various incarnations of this score but this is the one to end them all. Without Snoopy1960 this would not even be possible. They have provided for us the missing piece of the puzzle. This release includes the COMPLETE opening sequence music completely SFX-free along with completely new alternates and vocal-less tracks plus a few other cues that weren’t available in any other form than a cleaned-up DVDrip. I promise you folks that every single cue heard in the film is included in this release COMPLETELY SFX-FREE. Because I’m so excited about this release, I’ve actually picked up the slack and not only tagged the cues myself but also the file names to correspond with the tags. Don’t thank me for this. Thank Snoopy1960 for providing the missing pieces and Hazelkirk for the recording sessions. For this release, I utilized Snoopy’s Score Archives album, Hazelkirk’s recording sessions, and my own personal copy of the promo score (1 cue only, Escape from the Witches’ Lair, since it’s the only album to feature this cue oddly enough). It’s taken many years to complete and a lot of hard work and time and I hope you all enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed putting it together. This release was compiled using both 320kbps MP3 AND lossless FLAC sources but the final result is presented in 320kbps MP3. Enjoy!
Note: for those who have downloaded Snoopy’s Score Archives version of the score you’ll notice the severe clipping problem. Like I mentioned on that post, I have gone in and cleaned those tracks up immensely and they now sound like they should. Whoever mixed that album should be prohibited from ever mixing an album again. Also, I’ve combined the two tracks "They Conjure" and "Race to the Witches’ House" to where they more closely match their film versions and also because they sound kind of odd separated.
Thank You! and GREAT JOB!!

I’ve decided to split the complete score and the bonus tracks up into two separate archives but they are tagged to where if you decide you want to put it on your MP3 players or iPod it’ll show up in iTunes or whatever you use as one album. If you decide to burn to two CDs it will comfortably fit across those two discs (the complete score runs 69 minutes while the bonus tracks run 34 minutes). Enjoy!

Bonus Tracks (16 tracks, TRT: 33:55)
Or better yet, a Bluray.
thanks for the share! 😀
thanks for the share! 😀
And hopefully this will be the last. LOL.
The bonus tracks include some alternates, yes, but it’s mostly instrumental versions of some of the cues. In other words, the choral accompaniment that is featured in some of the cues is missing in those. It’s pretty cool.
cool, would love to hear that versions as well 😀 …
Sent you a PM.
😉
can you tell me what’s the password for the part 2 link?

Yours was a DVDrip for the unreleased portions, mine features all of the unreleased music (including the complete opening music) WITHOUT SFX from a clean (albeit rough) source. I did use To the Witches’ House to Go from your release for my release since it was the highest bitrate source that I could find and it was ironically missing from both the recording sessions and the super rare promo that Snoopy posted last year. I’ve actually re-edited it into a new album form for more casual listening. It’s post #1: Thread 118515. Now to wait for Disney (or Intrada) to release it in a restored and remastered form in the future.
but a new album edit sounds interesting 🙂
I used three sources. One was the Debney promo, and two were the two available here…that’s probably why it was better quality heh
EDIT: I’m realizing that’s not my most recent version of the score edit… but this post is:

Wait… that is the version from the Ultimate Complete Score Thread, right? I already have that one. I was looking for this one (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/hocus-pocus-complete-sfx-free-score-john-93535/#post1747881), which is 20 minutes longer than the Deluxe Edition.
AM I DREAMING??!!!
Thank you SO MUCH!! You’re the best!!!
Downloading NOW!!
Unfortunately I don’t think there’s an official, non-DVD/Bluray rip of that track even available. Pity.
