I was thinking about the game and i want to rant about what they did to kefka.

Bad enough they ruined setzer in kingdom hearts 3 was it? yeah.

Remember that risk loving man? He became a complete asshole instead and now the image is ruined by square enix.

Dissidia ruined kefka by making him look like the joker.

I was expecting something along the lines of milich oppenheimer type of thing:

A narcissistic asshole who is full of self importance just like in ff6,thats why i hated him in ff6.

He was an arrogant prick who treated people like shit and had no respect for life at all,just watch how he kicks the espers in the magitek factory downwards.

Wow, FFVI is 17 years old and Batman is much much older than that. And you noticed this by the time you played Dissidia?

It’s not like you need to know Rocket Science to figure that Kefka was literally stoled from Batman. If you want to be soft, an interpretation of the Joker in Final Fantasy.

Kefka in Dissidia is EXACTLY how I pictured him during the original :-/ Whatchu talkin’ bout mang?

I dunno,i thought the whole:Destroy destroy destroy a bit clich� dialogue.

I was hoping to hear a more pessimistic kefka rather than some of the jokes he constantly throws and panning too fast to the camera while it spins around giving us a close up of his face with his makeup.

Dissidia’s storyline isn’t really regarded as canon to the main games anyway, so SE can get away with characters personalities being slightly different to how they’re portrayed in their respective games (case in point: Terra in the ending of FFVI loses her Esper form when the Espers return to their realm, taking magic with them, yet in Dissidia she’s portrayed as still in possession of her esper powers, a blatant contradiction of the original game).

never played Dissidia, but I’ve seen it and Kefka’s fine. reminded me if that opening video from FF Anthology really had come to life.
Setzer, on the other hand… I just watched a clip on youtube of him from Kingdom Hearts. jeeeeesus. they fucked that

Dissidia is more or less a motion fan fiction. Like Enkidoh said, Dissidia isn’t canon, so liberties can be taken to make the characters more … ‘appealing’… to non FF fans. In short, appeal to the mindless automatons.

I would link the big fat guy cosplaying sailor moon,but i don’t remember where it was on youtube i found it.

It was fucking hilarious and gross at the same time.

Cosplayers are part of an extreme who like to dress up like their hero which is silly since at least 100% of the time they look stupid.

And the kefka cosplayers i saw just look stupid.

Its one thing to see a game because its animated,but seeing it in real is just silly.
