Thanks so much Doublehex!! it’s good to know i have the "final" version, at least for now.

I did however, have a few questions about Chance Thomas other work for LOTR. He is listed as also composing for "LOTR: War of the Ring" (2003), as well as "The Hobbit" (2003). I was trying to figure out about these projects, but couldn’t find any hits when it came to music.
In terms of The Hobbit, however, it seems that Chance Thomas was NOT the composer. I already knew there was a video game soundtrack for a version of The Hobbit, composed by Rob Abernathy and Dave Adams, which I’ve listened to (and though it was ok at times, but relatively weak overall)… so I assumed that Chance Thomas’ Hobbit was ANOTHER game…. but apparently not. In an article I found on the recording process of The Hobbit, they say that Chance Thomas was the "Tolkien Music Director" on the project, but I guess that means he didn’t compose anything for the game… so it’s weird that in various official places, it’s listed as one of his compositions… unless he wrote additional music for it as well??

From what I just googled, he collaborated with Lennie Moore (<3!) on it…and more than a fair bit of LOTRO is taken from his work on it.

Okay so I ripped the music from War of the Ring and arranged it into a soundtrack. I say expect it in a few days – I would say tomorrow, but I have my Cataclysm complete soundtrack to upload. 🙂

Below is a new cover I made for "Shadows of Angmar" as the only one I could find (even though it seems to be the official cover) was very grainy and not particularly engaging. Hope you enjoy, and I shall probably eventually make one for "Mines of Moria" (though not sure whether to use the same blue mine door artwork (though not all squashed as in the current cover), or the alternate art with Gandalf facing off against the Balrog). I suggest you stop using Mediafire and instead use Imageshack, Photobucket, or Flickr. OR, you could use a blog as a "gallery" of custom covers and just link us to the images there.

Ok… I’m pretty new to this whole image sharing thing…. so I’m just curious–what is the problem with the Mediafire link? and how is Imageshack/etc better for this case. I would actually like to start a blog eventually of custom covers, cause I’ve done quite a lot over the years. But in the meantime, i guess I’ll have to look into other methods of sharing them then?

It’s just that mediafire is too slow when loading them. Also…why just 500×500? Such a great cover art deserves a larger size.

hmm, ok Ill try to look into others then. But actually, the images I share are 600×600 (since that’s the size I use for iTunes), although I could share the Original image in full size instead, that way people can choose to re-size how they like, obviously the full-size depends on what artwork I found online to work from.

So, I’m curious–does anyone have any idea which cues of "Shadows of Angmar" were composed by whom?? I know Chance Thomas composed and conducted the full orchestral pieces… but there’s about another 5 composers or so listed as doing music as well.

The "Mines of Moria" score has it nicely labeled by composer, which really helps differentiate, but I would love to get some clarification on the "Shadows" credits.
