Enjoy and Please Say Thanks 🙂
Barry was in his "James Bond meets the raising of Titanic" mood! Hehehehehehe 🙂

Always tough to tell whether you’re going to get a re-up on a post that’s a year and a half old. And this is one you don’t want to miss, because it’s a phenomenal, real-life example of how any why certain scores (and composers) are better for a project than others. I’m a huge follower of John Barry’s work, and this CD has some great music on it, no question. But he took the same swagger, presence, and inherent expertise he so indelibly brought to James Bond . . . and tried to give it to Eddie Murphy, fercryinoutloud. As you listen to this score, even as you appreciate the lush quality of the music, you cannot deny that Barry was the wrong man for the job in this case. I’m no big fan of pop scoring, but Michael Colombier brought a great balance of the Harold Faltermeyer-style funk and traditional underscoring to a film where it clearly belonged. The contrast between these two musical visions is fascinating, and it proves that there’s a place for everyone, and all manner of varied approaches, in the art of scoring films.
These are 320k MP3 files. Wish I could bring FLAC to the game, but it is what it is. Hope you guys who missed out the first time around enjoy this.
Whoopshold that thought for just a moment. . . .

Enjoy!
I’m getting this now:
Sorry, this connection has reached the 300MB hourly download limit. Please try again later or upgrade to sendspace Pro™ and enjoy instant, fast downloads without hourly limits.
I apologize for the problems, guys. I’ve switched the links over to Packupload (same password), since Sendspace seems to be giving us all the dry gripes today. Let me know if THIS attempt doesn’t work. . . .
I’ve been reading Jon Burlingame’s book and he refers to this as "the lost Bond" score so would love to hear it!
Unfortunately the music from the second link doesn’t extract when I use the password given – any ideas?

Looks like I just missed out- is there any chance of a re-up?

What book?
I thought some of the cues in Barry’s Golden Child resembled Body Heat and A View To A Kill. The love theme is beautiful as always with Barry.
