"The Chant of Jimmie Blacksmith" is a 1978 Australian film by Fred Schepisi, written by Thomas Keneally (who wrote "Schindler’s List").

The Bruce Smeaton OST only made it to LP, I believe, and is long since out of print. But a compilation album, "Music From Great Australian Films", containing the main theme, was released on LP in the 1980s and then on CD in the early 1990s.

Is there any chance for either of these?

Ah, interesting website, TV21, thanks for mentioning it.

That EP brings back memories – now that I see it, I realise that was what I had a copy of (I made a mistake thinking it was an LP). But I lost it when my house got robbed (a fair while ago now) and all my records were taken. (I’d just moved in that day, so no insurance was in place, got talked into going to a party and came home to a ransacked house … it’s probably a common story. 🙁 )

Anyway. stereoelf has helped resolve my request, so I’m a happy chappy.
