If you were looking for MP3 or WAV, use Flicflac converter (FlicFlac Audio Converter – Sector Seven (http://sector-seven.net/utilities/flicflac-converter)), it’s free and easy to use, just drag & drop files.
If you are looking for VGM with looped tracks, wait for I3arnaby VGM release.
An entire day ?
You can get them in about 3 minutes. Just make a batch file to let ww2ogg converting the 677 files :
for %%a in (*.OGG) do ww2ogg.exe "%%a"
…I hate Wwise.
But I could reconvert them or someone could reupload them 😉
If you’re talking about the first time you fight with her in Gas Works, it’s on part 1. It sounds a lot like an alternate version of Plight and the file name is "58491258.ogg_conv". I would’ve downloaded them, but at first I didn’t know how to play the files, so I didn’t bother with the rest. I have all of Part 1, but I need someone to provide Parts 2-3 (maybe 4 too). Does anyone have those parts downloaded?

Anyway, i’m still searching for the song which plays during Cole’s fight against Nix in the Bad Ending.

Yes, Mediafire is okay with me. Thanks in advance 🙂

Thanks for doing this, but I don’t think that you really need to rename all of them. There’s a lot of songs that are in no shape or form related to some songs on the soundtracks. I don’t mind the numbers being left there; it helps you learn bigger numbers lol.
Is MediaFire all right with everyone?
Awesome! Can’t wait!

I’d use SendSpace if I were you. I’ve uploaded the full ripped soundtrack from inFamous 1 to Mediafire and they were blocked to everyone besides me for violation.

An update on progress would have been nice :p
Anyway, here ya go.

If those don’t work, then… just wait a month or so until I get my new laptop. Then I’ll be able to unpack the files and repack them without possibly corrupting a hard drive because the OS crashed mid-pack.

I’ve downloaded the rar. files, but they stop extracting at 87%. It refused to extract, maybe from corruption, incompletion, or encryption (least that’s what my extractor says). Thanks for the effort, but it seems like we’d have to wait for that new laptop to do the job it you can’t do it with the current one.
Edit: Okay, it seems that the folders are there with all the files! 🙂 The number of files between parts 2 and 3 is 167 and if anyone has 1, that’s 267 files (as much as Layer stated). However, I don’t understand why it stopped at 87%, despite it being the right number of files… But still, thanks a bunch, man! Time for me to convert into mp3s!

But I already did months ago (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f72/infamous-2-ps3-full-bgms-rip-677-a-92766/2.html#post2061432)? If someone can’t get the rars from that site I can go ahead and upload ’em to dropcanvas netkups as well.

I’ll throw ’em up on Netkups later as well. You might want to wait for that upload if your DL speed is terrible or whatever since that site generates a torrent file as well when you upload files larger than 10MB.

Really appreciate it. Would you happen to know where his rip of the first game is as well? Once i have that my life will be complete x3
Uhhh, that shouldn’t happen? The files I uploaded are the ones that I downloaded originally. Try unpacking them again?

UUUUGH NO I DON’T but I do have a rip. I forgot I even had a rip of the first game and I’m not sure where I even got it. It’s about 800MB(uncompressed) and 465 files so I think it’s Layer’s. I can reupload that too.
It’s shame how many tracks were left out of the official releases D:
‘Bout half way done uploading the first game’s rip. Slloooooowwww upload speed is slooooww.
I’m really surprised that they left so much out. Though considering the way the soundtrack is handled in the game i suppose it would be pretty hard to make a full soundtrack out of it. It would be like 10-11 cds xD.
Also herp derp here’s the first game’s rip.

Ah, which exact cut scene is it? I may be thinking of a different one. IN GAME or the actual ‘movie’ cut scene?

It’s the very last scene in the evil ending. The comic book scene in which cole becomes the beast.
I think I know which one you were thinking of, the one where you zap Zeke 3 times? Yeah, I’m looking for that one too, anyone know which one that is? The last part of the game where you have control in the evil ending.
Maybe you should look through this small thread…

GRUMBLES AND REUPLOADS
So a couple of days ago, my mom stepped on a power cord that went to an external hard drive. It fell. Violently. I’ve spent this weekend troubleshooting it as much as I possibly can. I even busted it out of its enclosure and then the metal enclosure it was sealed even further in. The arm, which reads the data, was knocked off the platter (the round disc that has the data on it). No biggie, I moved that back onto it, and now the disc spins and the arm moves just fine. The problem is once it spins up and the arm moves a couple of times (assuming it doesn’t get stuck…), it stops spinning.
See… this is my primary hard drive for stuff. I just started organizing all my stuff and then this happened.
You see where I’m going with this?
That’s the bad news; the good news is that both computers I checked it on recognized that a mass storage USB device was connected, and it showed up in the Device Manager on the Win 7 computer; I just can’t access the data. As far as I can tell from that, as well as visually looking at the physical disc platters, the data is all okay; I just can’t get to it. This means that the drive is mechanically fine, and from what Google searches gave me, the problem is electrical or something (I can’t remember the exact wording at the moment). I’m hopeful I can have a professional recover everything. If they are confident they can only recover something before the drive is lost, the unreleased inFamous soundtracks are definitely high on that list.
So this kind of sucks.
I have 100% of the inFamous 1 unreleased soundtrack on an MP3 player, and that’s also been uploaded to MediaFire. Only 233 tracks from the inFamous 2 are on that. :/ I have an older external hard drive that I used to use a lot, and it might have the IF2 rip on it, but I’m not sure I was using it at that point in time. I’ll look it over when I get a chance, but I’m doubtful.
Today’s been kinda stressful with the whole dropped hard drive thing; I just kinda want to sit and relax and play some Skyrim or something. Not much else I can do until tomorrow when I get the drive to a professional. I’ll keep you guys updated.
Congratulations, I’m in a good mood today after I got my allergy meds. The song is called Gorgeous Corpse on the CD. Here is exactly the version you are looking for.
https://anonfiles.com/file/9027d538c558dc289774e94f02618613 I’m the one who named it Title Music. Don’t worry, it should be what you’re looking for.
I sure as every-curse-word-possible am not the only person in the world who had a copy of this rip. I checked the profile of the first person to post a reply on this thread and their last post was "today". That alone tells me that SOMEONE is going to be easy to get ahold of who will have it, and if I’m wrong about that, I’ll eat a toaster.
(This isn’t even the only problem I have with that drive dying. I was told by someone else that the company could try to do something for it but THEN they would have to START charging me? And someone else told me it was 100% not salvageable and that even if I had 1500 USD to pay that 90% of it would probably be un-salvageable??? And neither instance said that the problem was the same thing??? I’M SO ANGRY WITH THESE PEOPLE.)

Best regards, hijrap112
Any chance you’ll upload the rip with all the tracks titled, hijrap? 😉
Sincerely, hijrap112.
Sincerely, hijrap112.
try using mp3tag
Well I am suggesting it and have made a quick start on it, I am really hoping someone or some people want to join in! Realistically if I do rename them all myself it won’t be til’ Christmas holidays and maybe not even this year :/
But anyway have a look, check it out. If someone could even just suggest a list of instruments used in the tracks that would help. Hopefully we can get a look at hijrap112’s renaming effort. Could someone PM him with a super easy way to get those names? iTunes export playlist or something maybe? Something simple or I doubt they will do it.

Edit: hijrap112 was kind enough to get his renames to me in a very timely manner after I asked, so thanks heaps to them and I’ll be using their names and possibly just adding a little detail. I will keep the above doc open for now. (it has hijrap112’s names.
