FAVORITE KOREAN MOVIE

Hi! Have you tried watching korean movies? I just started watching some and they are quite good.. What’s your favorite korean movie?

I haven’t watched a lot of Korean films but from the list Sympathy for Lady Vengeance would be my favourite so far.

Park Chan-wook is a great director. 😀

Also, I think Kim Ji-woon is very good.

He’s made films in a number of different genres and brings a unique perspective to each one.

Too many favs but gotta go with The Chaser (2008), Memories of Murder, Oldboy, I Saw the Devil, The Man from Nowhere, Poetry

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a Korean movie until this weekend. I was bored so I go on Hulu and search around, and I find "A Man From Nowhere," and I loved it. I would give it a 9/10. I’m thinking about watching "Mother" sometime as well.

"My Sassy Girl" really made me laugh, and not the rubbish American remake – tsk… I don’t normally like romantic comedies, but there is just minimal slush in My Sassy Girl that makes it bearable!

Oldboy.

Pretty much single handedly introduced me to foreign film. Also A Bittersweet Life.
