ENJOY!!
The link *is* dead?
Yup, the link is dead as of today. I need this as well, so I second the reupload request.
If you’re a fan of games with small puzzles (small as in not too hard) and shock-horror (not too much gore and blood, but true, geniune surprises) then yes. Aside from Silend Hill, Eternal Darkness is the only other game I know that gets the atmosphere and survival horror right without going too action-focused like the newer Resident Evil games. Also, the game has a rune system where you can combine different runes and sometimes find out spells via experimentation. There are combination recipes of course, but it works the other way around as well.
In other words, yes, buy it!
ENJOY!!! 🙂
And Ragitsu, If you want to play one of the best (shock)horror games, then yes play it. I honestly feel that it’s one of those most underrated games ever, not just of the previous generation of games but really of all time.
Alot of people dismissed it as a Resident Evil ripoff but it’s anything but, thus game really works around the atmosphere like Silent Hill. And much like Silent Hill the thing that is the most scary is that what you don’t see instead of what you do see.
But the entire game is very different, the Rune (Magic) effects are great and the Sannity Effects are just insane and truly amazing. But do play it on the Gamecube and not with the Wii’s backwards compatibility, trust me that’s the best way to play it!
Enjoy!
