Thanks again for this one, Doublehex!! I must say, I was very torn on this soundtrack, because there were some great compositions, but overall it really suffered from the lack of a real orchestra. The live recorded solo instruments really go a long way, but when it comes to strings, those synth ones always drain the life out of a piece. Oh well, Moore worked with what he had, and still managed to write some great material, despite the lack of orchestra.

Anyways, I made a new cover, since the artwork itself on your cover I couldn’t find in good quality, so I found another wallpaper, and made a new cover, so I thought I’d share with all you guys, enjoy!

I actually highly considered using that artwork, but I decided in the end against it. It just felt too "generated" to me and it looked off anyways. The game’s main cover art has the bonus of displaying all the races, instead of just the Empire.

Fair enough, I know nothing of the game, so didn’t have idea which best "represented" the score as a whole. I liked that the artwork you chose did show more characters, but again, the only image of that i found online was in lowly quality, so I went for the other artwork instead. Also wanted to make the font choice for the "credits" smaller and more consistent with the actual cover fonts. Anyways, not trying to replace yours, just sharing an alternative 🙂
