Troy Complete Score (2004) – James Horner

Has a complete bootleg ever leaked for this? Because there’s a lot of music missing from the commercial album (also, some of the tacks are different takes than what was used in the film).

If not, does anyone have this DVD rip with SFX? Because that would be better than nothing…

Just a fyi, I asked Altovar ( The guy who has been doing the Star Trek Episode rips ) if he could do a complete score rip not very long ago; I didn’t hear a yes or a no. I will let you know if I hear anyting.

My money is that it is the one I have and was leaked. The track numbers matched upwhen I saw this a year ago, still really love this score and cant wait till we get it some day.

I did a DVD rip of 3200 Years Ago and managed to minimize the amount of SFX and voices; I don’t have the expertise to do any better, so there’s still bleedthrough.

I also did a reasonable job of "06 Training" and "19 Paris’ Defeat", "05 Hector and Achilles Preparing", and I edited the albums’ tenth track to include the little fanfare of the Greek fleet being discovered. I did various other rips of music that would correspond to much of the sought after playlist.

My playlist is 85 minutes long, about 10 minutes more than the album

The main problem I have with the album is twofold: the first track is an amalgamation of two cues from the film and doesn’t actually contain much material from the actual opening cue itself, which is strange. Secondly, the ninth track, the duel between Hector and Achilles, is considerably shorter compared to the actual cue composed (thankfully, the recording sessions seem to have caught a more complete, albeit abrasive, version)
