I was kind of miffed that Capcom did not loop any of the tracks in the Biohazard Sound Chronicle II – Biohazard 5 Alternative Edition tracks.

I made a small attempt to edit "The Mercenaries Reunion" track to loop it myself.

MEGAUPLOAD – The leading online storage and file delivery service (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G81C77AY)

Can you guys give it a listen and tell me if it sounds seamless to you guys?

What I did was I copied the track from about 18 seconds into it onwards to the end of the track. When the track hit about 1:41 to loop again, I pasted the portion I copied because at that point in the track, it sounds similar to how it does around 18 seconds.

Please let me know if you think it sounds seamless to you guys. I would say the only drawback to this procedure was it re-compressed the mp3 file. Jessie’s rip was at VBR mp3 to begin with and when it prompted me to save, I had to resave as an mp3 which may have botched the quality of the original file. I might try to give it a shot again when Jessie releases his loseless version of the CD.

Thanks for checking and if anyone has some tips for doing this kind of process, it would be most helpful. Used the free version of "Wavepad Sound Editor".

The track seems flawless to me, nice work with the looping, Arigetsu. If you want to preserve the original mp3 quality while editing, try mp3DirectCut (http://mpesch3.de1.cc/mp3dc.html), it doesn’t re-encode the stream.

Sounds good to me too.

Added Disc 6 in flac on the thread.

Get Reaper, tap out the tempo, crop and dupe by bars. From here you can figure out chord progressions, what the drums are doing, and loop it perfect every time.

This one sounds good, but in the future, tap out the tempo, and crop bars. It’s a lot easier than doing it blind.
