Does anyone have Fatboy Slim’s track 10, "Illuminati" in real lossless? The version I got from shoshot is from a really low res MP3, with cut off at about 15khz(!!!). Certainly not a low pass filter done in mastering!

Ever heard of "lossy master", takehiro ? 😉 For instance, a legitimate lossless rip of a disc sourced from a lossy master is still a legitimate lossless rip. Especially given the high AR confidence, which suggests that, if not vanilla, there has been a bunch of ‘faked’ discs pressed somewhere – shit happens…
Will borrow asap two or three other discs from the local libraries and compare.

Yes, I have hard of lossy master 😛 They even make their way into movies sometimes (Creep for instance). I dont need you to go all-out for me, I just wondered if anyone has the song from another source or the original EP?
