I think enough composers have worked on this game over the last decade or so that there is probably a very healthy amount of "library music" gearbox can pull from.

i am personally worried about dnf’s music not only because of the lack of soundtrack in collector’s edition but also because of what I heard in the demo and the quality of the new grabbag. It’s ok, but only ok. Why not use the megadeth one? Or even arkenstone’s one which is my favorite. The funny thing is that imo MP had the best (and shortest) game-grabbag : )

there is already grabbage and thats whats played on the main website, its not in the demo version but will probably be in the full version. Plus megadeth’s version is overrated as hell.

Okay i have ripped the full entire soundtrack. The composer is Eric Von Rothkirch a 3d realms/tryptarch employee. I must say i have not played the game so i didn’t listen to most of the songs because i wanted to expereince it for myself in the game but what i have edited when i skimmed through dosn’t sound so bad. Theres alot of synth orchestra and several rock tracks scattered through and they seem to fit the alien invasion and guitars for dukes badassness. Also the extra stuff like holsem girls/porn/halo joke motifs ar a nice touch.
