So far only listened to a few tracks, and must say these are pretty interesting arrangements from Zer series, overall they are much softer, melodic and with a lot of piano music, unlike previous rock-oriented Mythos.
"Awakening Will in Resonance" is probably the favorite track since it’s another version of "Departure".
Still nothing beats the one from ‘Mythos’ though :p

(quite indeed the many thanks to you good gentleman)
Thank you 😀
Btw, is it just my headphones or something, or is there quite a bit of annoying crackling going on in the left side of the tracks? Especially in Endless Fight, Alouette March, Awakening Will, and Cannon Ball.
Thank you 😀
My favorite is Ice Brain
xP Well, we will have to buy it for that. I DEFINITELY will whenever I get the chance.
And I haven’t used headphones for it yet, but I personally hear no hissing of any sort, KGN-004.
Listen carefully to the left channel with headphones on those tracks I mentioned. It isn’t so much hiss as it is crackle/rattle. Pretty sure it’s the recording/master itself and not my headphones/hardware/software. I’ve been carefully listening to all kinds of music today.
Or maybe it IS one of those things, it’s just more noticeable with these tracks? Those tracks are all piano solo stuff.
I like Lobo, Holy Land, Ice Brain and Ciel D’Aube.

Someone please say I’m not the only one hearing this. 😛
Hm, I just re-listened to those tracks you were having problems with and I can’t confirm that there is cracking or any hissing going on.
I tried to bring up the volume higher to maybe catch something, but still nothing.
The only track with some apparent hissing throughout the whole thing is "Cyberelf in Resonance".
But it is obviously considered a sound effect and is meant to be there.
Are you using default settings for your media player of choice or did some tweaking around with it?
Or I would guess it’s the headphones fault, but since you had no problem with any other music, than I’m not sure.
Also do you hear it every 10-15 seconds or how often?
Someone please say I’m not the only one hearing this. 😛
Well, you’re not the only one, I can hear it too… 😛
Grapping teh FLAC release now~

Do people here use a specific Portable Player or have a specific sound card to take advantage of the flac soundtracks?
As i posted before, i appreaciate this Milo =)
I’d imagine most do. A decent set of headphones (read: not iBuds, Skullcandy, or anything by Dre), some sort of amp, and an optical connection from the computer to the amp would be the absolute minimum.
And since I didn’t post this before (sorry!), thanks for the upload, Milo!
I transcode from FLAC to Vorbis when putting stuff on my portable player (Sansa Fuze ). When I listen at home I use this setup:
DDDAC USB-powered DAC (Description of the DDDAC1543 MK2 project (http://dddac.de/ma_dac31.htm))
PIMETA v2 headphone amp (PIMETA v2 Headphone Amplifier (http://tangentsoft.net/audio/pimeta2/))
AKG k701 studio headphones (AKG K701 Reviews :: Headphone Reviews (http://www.headphonereviews.org/headphone/AKG/K701))
I plan to update the equipment to this some time into the future:
PPA v2 headphone amp (http://tangentsoft.net/audio/ppa/)
AKG k702 studio headphones
