So, there’s the official release (which has about half of the score), a 33-track version (which supposedly has no SFX, but might just be an re-edit of existing stuff and is still not complete), and a complete score that is riddled with SFX and has timing issues.

So, is there a real bootleg floating around somewhere? I’m hoping that with both The Dark Knight and Batman Begins coming out so close to each other, that we might see other Zimmer scores in the near future.

But, M:I-2 (along with The Thin Red Line) are my favorite of his that haven’t got a decent release yet.

Currently no. I’m not even sure if there will be one. Hope doesn’t look well for the M:I-2 Complete Score w/o SFX.

Why don’t you think there will ever be one?

If that’s true, that really bums me out. It’s one of my favorite film scores ever…

🙁
