When you say ‘from the DVD isolated score’, what do you mean? Do you mean that it might have been ripped off the DVD? ‘Cos that’s just what I was thinking…in "grasshopper music" you can hear when the camera goes into the grasshopper’s place and the sound does some weird stereo thing as if you’re really there…if you get that…?! Hmmm… GOSH! I’m just listening to it and it seems I have a different version slightly…my ‘Grasshoppers!’ is only 0:33 and then ‘Big Bad Hopper’ is the same as the one from the OST and Promo! This ‘Big Bad Hopper’ sounds completer than my one…was the one from the OST and Promo edited? Is this the EXACT complete score as heard in the film? And ‘Let’s Ride’ is a bit different as well! Mine starts differently…Gosh I’m now REALLY confused! Also, is there any decent back cover available?

No no, they are what they say they are!! C&C = Cast and Crew Promos, Academy Promos = just that, etc.

And this a bug’s life one doesn’t have FX, that’s the whole point!! 😀 It was ripped from the Isolated Score on the 2 Disc collector’s edition DVD.

I initially thought I was imagining it because I have a DFX Audio Enhancer installed, so I disabled it but still, some of the songs had clicks… Hopefully, someone who has the C&C disc can re-rip it. For now, thanks for your edit, Sulley.

Hmmm… could you tell me which albums and tracks had clicks in? I will try downloading them myself and see.

I only got A Bug’s Life right now; I only know of problems in the C&C edition. Particularly the last few ones from Building The Bird onwards.

Aha! That makes sense then. I found the bug’s life C&C link a while back, downloaded it, and burnt it to a disc. Then our computer crashed and I lost the original files. I tried looking for the link again recently, but I think it was on the Soundtrack Zone blog or somewhere like that, which has since disappeared, so the link is gone. The only thing I could do was rip my CD of it and use those files, so in that sense the files are now second-hand. Whilst the disc was ripping, it stopped. I assumed the disc had a scratch on it, and so I ripped it at a faster speed, and it seemed to work fine. I haven’t listened to it since then, but if I listen to it now…. listening… listening… ok. Yes, I can hear little clicky things going on very faintly in the background. Sorry about that! If you can find another link somewhere, do give me a pip. I’d love to get it again – with proper files for the covers, too, as the ones I uploaded were scans of the print-outs I made from the original files I got and then lost. So they’re second-hand as well. But I think the C&C is not needed anyway, as we have the complete score. The only problem with the complete score is the volume levels… is there any way to fix that?
Hmmm. RS works nice and quick for me. I’ve heard other complaints about them, but I’ve never had any problems with them myself.
I can assure you that all the other links are first-hand proper ones! Bug’s life C&C is the only second-hand one!
